Met Gala 2018: The Best Dressed Celebrities on the Red Carpet
Met Gala is that time of the year when every fashionista impatiently waits for the grand opening of the Costume Institutes’s annual fashion exhibit. The dress code for the Meta Gala 2018 was chosen as the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” and was held at its usual location at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Rihanna has always regarded as the show-stopper of Met Gala and this year also was the same. Dressed in a Margiela-designed papal crown and cape, Rihanna mesmerized everyone with her beauty and style. Rihanna even said that her dress was so heavy that every step seemed like performing a squat.
Clooney was seen wearing a metallic corset with navy pants and a flowing floral train by Richard Quinn. Clooney was also among the celebrity hosts of the night who opened the night’s carpet with her boldest fashion choices so far.
Blake walked the carpet wearing a custom-made Versace dress with a $2 million of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She made a night-ending appearance which was worth waiting for.
Ariana Grande made her very first appearance to met Gala. Ari wore a Vera Wang gown with imagery from Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Ariana looked like a Renaissance painting in the dress.
The Bollywood actress was wearing a dress by Ralph Lauren, the same designer who created her 2017 trench gown. The gold beaded hood was a workmanship of more than 250 hours of embroidery.
