Rose Mcgowan, who has accused Weinstein of rape, wrote in an Instagram post about the possibility that Weinstein is soon going to be face criminal charges.

Rose McGowan

I, and so many of Harvey Weinstein’s survivors, had given up hope that our rapist would be held accountable by law. Twenty years ago, I swore that I would right the wrong. Today we are one step closer to justice. We were young women who were assaulted by Weinstein and later terrorized by his vast network of complicity. I stand with my fellow survivors. May his arrest give hope to all victims and survivors everywhere that are telling their truths.”

Similarly, Sciorra, who accused Weinstein of raping her in the early 1990s, expressed her reaction by posting “Can’t wait” on Twitter. In her second tweet on this report, she made the Weinstein’s arrest news seem like an event. Sciorra tweeted “Anyone know where I can get front row seats?!”.

While a lot of actresses have accused Weinstein of sexual exploitation, he has been consistently denying the accusations of non-consensual sex with any of the accusers. However, it’s just a matter of time that he will face arrest and legal judgment.
