The “Queen” Band is Back to Rock You
The Queen band which we know for giving songs like “We are the champions”, “Under Pressure”, “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “We will rock you”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and many more, is back, but this time, as a Movie.
Titled “Bohemian Rhapsody”, is an upcoming biopic based on both the legendary British band and its lead vocalist, Freddie Mercury. The film is a joint venture between British and America as it has been produced by New Regency, 20th Century Fox, GK films and Queen Films. Directed by Bryan Singer and written by Anthony McCarten, the trailer of the film was released last week which has got more than 8 million views. The trailer will surely make you wait for its release which is scheduled for November 2, 2018.
While the character of lead vocalist of the rock band Queen, Freddie Mercury, is played by Emmy winner, Rami Malek, actors Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello and Gwilym Lee are portraying Queen members Roger Taylor, John Deacon, and Brian May respectively.
The teaser of the movie was released in May earlier this year which really raised the hopes of fans for the movie. And seriously, that trailer seems no-nonsense, especially Malek who looks completely in the character of the legendary rock star.
Whether you talk about the hair, bell-bottoms, or the charisma and energy of characters, the film is undoubtedly nailing everything from Queen’s era. From the trailer, it can be seen that you will get to see almost everything from no-mustached Mercury to arduous recording process for hit 1975 title song and also the sexuality of Mercury, who passed away in 1991 due to complications from AIDS.
Well, if you are really an ardent fan of the Queen band or if you just loved the trailer, mark the date November,2 when the movie will hit the theaters.
