Woman Got Sacked After Fiance Proposed For Marriage on Plane

A mobile clip of fiancé proposing to his woman that went viral 4 months back is in the news again but this time it’s for some unexpected reasons.

Everyone wishes to make their marriage proposal an unforgettable moment in their lives. However, what was expected to be a moment of a lifetime for this couple turned out to be a bit upsetting one. The flight attendant of China Eastern was all over the internet in May earlier this year when her boyfriend proposed to her while she was on duty.

The clip of this proposal did several rounds on the internet and was appreciated by a lot of people. In the clip, the man can be seen kneeling on the floor in front of his girlfriend and holding up a ring. After accepting the ring, hugs, and kisses, the girlfriend said over the in-flight announcement system that “I really didn’t know my boyfriend will be proposing to me on this flight, thanks for being my witnesses”.

Here is the video of that sweet inflight proposal-

While the sweet romantic gesture might have inspired a lot of other couples to propose their partner on the plane same way, but you would want to refrain from it, especially if your partner is one of the crew members.

Why are we saying this? Well, the flight attendant you see in the video has been fired by the company on September 10. The airline said that the flight attendant was expelled on the ground that she neglected the safety of the passengers.

According to Channel 8, the airline said that “Private romantic behavior caused turmoil among passengers and was extremely irresponsible for the safety of passengers.”

Since the time the news of the flight attendant’s dismissal has come out, social media users in China are calling the airline’s decision an “inhumane” one. The official comment on the incident by China Eastern Airlines is yet to be announced.

Although China Eastern Airlines can’t be judged completely wrong considering the security of the passengers, however, dismissing the flight attendant is a bit too harsh. What do you have to say about the China Eastern Airline’s decision? Let us know in the comment section.
