You Won’t Believe That These Wedding Dresses Are Made of Toilet Paper

Every year, Cheap Chic Weddings and Quilted Northern organizes a Tissue Paper Wedding Dress Contest in which designer showcase their talent by designing attention-grabbing wedding dresses made up using only Quilted Northern toilet paper, glue, tape and needle, and thread.

This year, the duo organized the 14th Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest in which more than 1500 designers across the country submitted their entries. As the top 10 finalists of the contest has been announced, we have brought you the dresses of the chosen finalists.

1.) This stunning wedding dress is created by a Michigan based yoga instructor, Susan Brennan.

2.) Designed by actress and singer, Kari Curletto, this princess-style gown is a perfect example of incredible craftsmanship. Curletto designed the cage crinoline only using tape, glue and toilet paper. She spun 1600 feet of Quilted Northern to create this amazing, see-through lace.

3.) This Cinderella-style gown is created by Susan Nicholson of Kennesaw, Georgia.

4.) While above-mentioned designers have participated in this contest earlier as well, this was the first time for the Chae Rim of Centerville, Ohio who created this gorgeous wedding dress.

5.) This was the third time for the Augusto Manzanares who have reached the top 10 list three times. This year too, Manzanares has not disappointed and have created a stunning dress.

6.) Another returning top 10 finalist is the Julie Hass of Stockton, Illinois who has made it to the top finalists’ list 4th time this year. This time, Hass has come up with this blue and pink gown which is unique and pleasing to the eye.

7.) Frank Cazares of Palm Springs, California showed his creativity with the intricately woven wedding dress and headpiece.

8.) The winner of the grand prices in 2015, Donna Vincler is back again and this time, she has created this incredible floral masterwork.

9.) Inspired by spring, Mimoza Haska astonished everyone with this unbelievable craftsmanship.

10.) Designed by Ronaldo Cruz who is florist by profession, this unbelievable gown is a perfect example of elegance.

Seeing the dresses of the top 10 finalists, it is tough to say who is going to be the winner this year. The winner of the contest will be rewarded with $10,000. The second- and third place winners will win $5,000 and $2,000, respectively. Moreover, the winner of a fan voting competition will also rewarded with $1,000.

In a press release, the co-founder of Cheap Chic Weddings, Susan Bain said that “We are in constant awe of these artfully crafted dresses year after year and hope to continue to inspire brides both past and present with these couture creations.”
